About Deanna "Deelish"
Where were you born and raised?
Los Angeles -- Palm Springs, California (desert town). I ditched the dunes and made my way back to LA. Beverly Hills holds my current home, but realistically like every LA commuter, I live in my car sunup to sun down.
Besides my constant growing desire to paint, do makeup, or design clothes, my Mom played a significant role in my artisan development. She always seemed to be ahead of the trend with her funky and artistic taste for everything, especially clothing. I was that typical little girl in mom’s oversized pumps tangled in all of her clothes and the adorable arm candy in the shops mentally recording her every buy. Entrepreneurship, jewelry and fashion are the rungs of my DNA. My Dad, who passed away when I was 8, had a jewelry manufacturing business. The jewelry business ran in his family line and, coincidently, my Grandpa, on my Mom’s side, was a jeweler as well. Where my power and drive may have been adopted from my Mother; my purpose holds strong to my Father and the commitment to continue be a figure of inspiration as they both continue to be for me.
Quick, give me 5 things you cannot live without.
Friends and Family, music, makeup, coffee, and my phone.

If you can only choose 4 items of clothing to create 2 weeks of wardrobe, what would they be?
I'm going to assume shoes and accessories don't count.
- Leggings 2. White T-shirt 3. Leather Jacket 4. Flannel
As a social influencer, what is one side of you that social media does not capture?
Social media only captures what you want it to. People should know that I am just as human as they are. I have my days where I am upset, feeling uninspired, and not beautiful. What “appears” is realistically not what always “is”. Remember everything can seem amazing and perfect, but everyone has problems and issues. I am choosing to work on opening up and being more honest with myself and my audience, so we can both have a stronger focus on our inner beauty!
Who are your fashion and beauty inspirations?
Rihanna, Gwen Stefani, Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot and so many more! I get pieces of inspiration from different styles and love to combine them in an unconventional way. I'm inspired by random people on the street and art as well.
Your dying words?
Nothing else matters except for owning who you truly are, loving yourself, being confident, kind and always following your heart.
